The GD&T Trainer Personal Version is a convenient, economical GD&T training option that's perfect for anyone who wants to learn geometric tolerancing fundamentals at home. Based on the ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard, this virtual classroom at your desktop includes 28 lessons covering the basic rules, definitions, and concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. It let's you learn GD&T at your own pace, and when it meets your schedule.

The GD&T Trainer Personal Version is an abridged version of ETI's GD&T Trainer Professional Edition. The Personal Version includes instant lesson feedback, "hotwords" for over 150 GD&T terms included in the lessons, technical animations that demonstrate concepts, 3-D solid part drawings, and quizzes that let you test your knowledge of concepts. The Personal Version does not include audio, author's comments, a final exam, or student administration/reporting tools.

Designed for use by one person on a stand-alone PC, the Personal Version is ideal for anyone who wants convenient, affordable GD&T training at home. The software can be used to learn the fundamentals or improve upon GD&T skills. It can also be used as a resource when training is done.

(This version allows registration and training by one individual on a single PC. It is not sold to companies, and it cannot be loaded onto a LAN system. It is not licensed for use on laptops in a group training format.)

System and Software Requirements
The recommended system requirements for use are: 

  • Microsoft Windows 2000/XP (US version updated to the latest service packs)
  • Pentium-based computer 400 MHz or higher  CD-ROM drive (for installation)
  • 256MB RAM (minimum) 
  • 100 MB of hard drive space (minimum) 
  • Video card (24-bit, 800x600, set to small fonts (normal size-96 dpi under XP) 
  • Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 or higher (included) 
  • Macromedia Flash Player 7.0.14.0 or higher (included) 

Note: This software does not work on computers running Windows 3.x.
